I am now based between the beautiful medieval city of York and Scotland's capital, Edinburgh.

I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities
at the University of Edinburgh.
I’m a late medievalist, with early modernist leanings and an interest in digital humanities.
I work as an Assistant Editor on the Journal of the Northern Renaissance.
From 2019 to 2021 my work focussed on 'Digitising the Bannatyne MS'.
My monograph is being prepared for submission to Brill in March 2024.

From 2021 to 2023, I was Wikimedian-in-Residence at the British Library.
I now work with Wikimedia UK on secondment to Exeter's GLAM-E Lab.
I am the Central European liaison for the Wikimedia Foundation's Let's Connect programme.
Personal
I am passionate about good food, podcasting, improv, libraries, reading and travel,
Since 2017 I have been a host on the Podcastica network, and was listed on
'15 Television Podcasts Worth Listening To' in Variety in 2022.
I write an infrequent TinyLetter.
I dabble in yoga and Humanism, and the odd zombie apocalypse drama.
